Hi,
I am trying to create a seperate animation scene for every attack (something similar to Vanguard Bandits/Epica Stella fight animations). Should I create a separate scene for the animation or simply move the camera in the same scene to show animation and then move back to the board?

If you are changing scenes, then you would need a way to persist the state of the battle. If you've already got something that works, then that is an option, but performance-wise I think you will still do better to keep it all in the same scene. Never hurts to try them both out and compare results just to see what you prefer working with.
Note that it is also possible to create your animations in a separate scene, and load it additively instead of changing the scene.

Thank you for the reply. I have created an additive scene where I instantiate a "turn" player and "target of attack" player (I find these player on the board by using TAGs). I put them in certain position facing eachother.
When the attack is finished I move back to the EndFacingState of a turn player. I also unload an additive scene and destroy instantiated GameObjects. Is that the way you would do it?

I haven't needed to do it before, so I cant say for certain what way I would do it. I think the more important questions are: * Is it performant (loads quickly enough not to be noticeable) * Is it efficient (use the analyzer tools and make sure you aren't suffering memory problems) * Is it elegant (intuitive to use, easy to work with and maintain over time)
If you are satisfied with the answers to those questions, and it's working, then I say great - go for it!

Thank you for a fast reply. That definitely makes a lot of sense. I will keep these questions in mind.
P.S. I really appreciate all the work and effort you put into creating TRPG tutorials. I learned so much and went from being a newbie to actually writing my own game code.
