The Master Controller doesn't seem to be able to open my DB in my unity project. What could be the cause of it?

I am curious why the path to your database is listed as a "\Pokemon.db" but it should be a "/Pokemon.db". That may be an issue.
The DB Browser is not a tool to use inside Unity. It was a free standalone app to use to view and edit sqlite databases.
There could be many reasons why things are not responding so it is hard to say. Have you started from the repository project? Have you added images to replace the empty images for buttons etc? If you did open the project and run the DatabaseDemo, did you run the Tests in order? You may need to open the script and modify the DatabaseDidLoad to run Test1, then Test2 etc.
