Is it easier to do everything in 2D Unity? or a 3D Unity? If I want something like this -> www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZFRtN5DB1EWould your system be able to do something like this? I have a ton of assets drawn in 2D, when I attempted this on RPG Maker, but that didn't work out well, so I'm using Unity now,

In my opinion, a 3D tactics game would be easier to make in Unity than a 2.5D tactics game like the one in that video. The main issue for me would all of the manual ZDepth sorting you would need to do to make everything appear stacked correctly that would be automatic in a 3D game. With that said, you can still use your 2D sprites which you have already created but position them on the board using 3D and orient them to face the camera.

Wow, Thank you so much for the quick reply! I completely forgot I could turn my 2D sprites sideways in 3D so they appear visible, but as soon as I read your reply it reminded me! : ) Thank you so much for the help!
